HIIM 330 - Data Design, Analysis, and Research Methods (4) A review of methods utilized to transform health data into information. This course covers the fundamental procedures used in collecting, summarizing, analyzing, presenting, and interpreting data. Includes acceptable terminology, definitions, and formulas necessary to compute common healthcare statistical reports and extract information from medical documentation. Current health information technologies will be utilized by students in completion of projects. Prereq: PHLT 232 . Offered: Fall.
