HCAD 421 - Healthcare Administration Internship (3-6)

Field-based application of knowledge and skills to enhance competency attainment in healthcare organizations under the supervision of a preceptor. A minimum of 6 credit hours must be earned to fulfill major requirements, but the course may be repeated for a maximum of 9 credits. Six hours are required to fulfill HA Internship requirements. Up to 3 additional credit hours may be used to fulfill degree elective requirements. Prereq: Permission of program director. Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
