DATA 201 - Introduction to Data Analytics (3) This course provides students with the fundamental concepts and tools needed to understand the role of statistics and data analytics in business organizations. By developing and embracing an analytical mindset, students will gain a foundational understanding of probability and statistics for data analysis used in business decision making. Evaluating these alternatives and gaining insight from past performance is the essence of data analytics. This course is designed as an introduction to data analytics, an area of business administration that considers the extensive use of data, methods, and fact-based management to support and improve decision making.
