NURG 772 - Psychiatric Mental Health II (3)

Provides the student with an understanding of the treatment of selected psychopathology. The role of the advanced psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities of child/adolescent (birth to age 17) patients and families will also be explored. In addition, this course will provide advanced knowledge of psychobiological information in conjunction with the use of psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions with child/adolescent patients.
