ENVM 537 - Water and the Environment (3) This course is designed to give the student a deeper understanding of the interaction between our use of water resources and the environment we live in. The student will be able to conduct general research and computations around water topics, and discuss how these issues affect the environment that we inhabit. A foundation of water properties and the hydrologic cycle will be built early in the course before moving into discussions with a finer focus on human interaction with water and the environment. Current topics in water resources will be discussed to expose students to real problems facing us today and in the future. Offered: Spring, on rotation.
