SLPA 500 - Introduction to Clinical Practicum in Speech Language Pathology (2) This course is intended as a preparatory knowledge and skills course as first-year M.S. SLPA students learn about clinical placements and skills that are required for entry into clinical courses. Students will be introduced to clinical writing, professionalism training, and skill-based rationale during the course. Additionally, students will learn and demonstrate basic skill competencies as they move toward their first clinical practicum. Grading is pass/fail. Prereq: Admission into the M.S. program and completion of 25 hours of observation in supervised clinicals. Offered: Summer.
