MNGT 545 - Organizational Change (3) This is a practical course that addresses the issues, basic theories, and methods associated with proactive organizational change in contemporary organizations. Participants will be exposed to a number of organizational issues including, but not limited to, the need for change, why organizations change or fail to change (e.g., organizational readiness, resistance), and how change helps organizations become more competitive and profitable. Discussions will also explore the role of leadership in change, how leaders effect change, and the critical role of communication in impacting change. Offered: Jan Term.
