NUTR 220 - Nutrition Science for Health Professions (4) Principles of human nutrition, food choices, and behaviors related to health of individuals. Included in this course is the study of nutrients in food, their roles in health and disease, dietary recommendations, concepts of energy balance, and their application to global nutrition needs. The course will capture the most recent advancements in nutrition science and their relation to health and disease. Offered: Fall and Spring.
