UCFH 120 - Concepts of Fitness and Health (2) Fitness and health are homeostatic states that must be maintained throughout the course of one’s life. This introductory course provides a foundation of the dimensions of wellness and their relationship to overall health for activities of daily living. Principles of fitness, basic nutrition, body composition, cardiovascular disease, substance abuse, stress, and other topics necessary for optimum health will be discussed. Offered: Every semester.
