Study of fields, systems of linear equations, matrices, vector spaces, subspaces, bases and dimension, linear transformations, isomorphism, representation of transformations by matrices, linear functionals, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, invariant subspaces, inner product spaces, stochastic matrices, matrix exponentials, and numerical methods.
