SLPA 608 - Dysphagia in Pediatrics and Adults (3)

The study of the sequence of events for normal swallowing in pediatrics and adults. This course will also include the congenital and acquired swallowing disorders along with their neurological and anatomic bases, the differential diagnosis of various swallowing disorders, and treatment techniques that are evidence-based. Prereqs: SLPA 503 and SLPA 504. Offered: Summer.
