NUAD 222 - Healthcare Trends and Issues (2)

Introduction to current healthcare issues and trends. Topics discussed include: the aging, vulnerable populations, healthcare delivery systems, genetics, biogenetics, regulatory agencies, bioterrorism, emerging infections, health insurance, and informatics. LEC 2. Prereqs: Admission to the School of Nursing and all required science courses must be completed with a minimum science GPA of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale.
