This course is designed to promote the strategies and pedagogy necessary for candidate competency in teaching content in the areas of science and social studies in the elementary school. Within this course, candidates will explore inquiry-oriented investigations to prepare them to engage future students in learning about their world. Prospective teachers will be equipped to prepare students to make informed decisions and become responsible citizens in a democratic society. Prereq: EDUC 221. Offered: Spring.
